Acute & Chronic Pain

Acupuncture has been a life saving process for me. I suffered from a severe case of carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists. At times, the pain seemed almost too much to bear. Things one takes for granted like: combing your hair, brushing your teeth, opening doors... felt impossible to do. As I watched my friends undergo multiple surgeries for carpal tunnel, only to endure continued pain from the syndrome and the surgery; I finally decided to try acupuncture with John Urich at the Lawrenceville Acupuncture Center. It was the best decision I have ever made. After just a few visits, my pain began to disappear and I could resume life again, pain free. I arrived with a severe wrist sprain & arthritis in my lower back. The extreme pain to the wrist was alleviated so quickly it was amazing. I also found the same thing true when I misused my back. When I was a child my parents and doctor missed the diagnosis of the "S" shaped scoliosis of my spine. When I was a young adult I experienced severe back pain and often had to go to work doubled over in pain. John Urich's Acupuncture practice has been a great aspect in my life and as I am an athlete, John has been a lifesaver! John was very patient and supportive in understanding my desire to run the race and yet was concerned to be straightforward with me as to prevent any long-term injuries. Sciatica

Last year, I had a severe sciatica problem which effectively crippled me. My doctor diagnosed sciatica and suggested exercises and pain medication for the extreme pain. The meds didn't work, and the exercises were no good because of the pain. So in desperation and after a colleague recommended it, I tried acupuncture at Lawrenceville Acupuncture Center and it healed me totally after 8 sessions. Stop Smoking program that made the difference

I came to Lawrenceville Acupuncture for treatment after years of cigarette smoking. John was caring and supportive as they put me through a detoxification regime. Allergies

John Urich is a very caring, dedicated and skilled acupuncturist. I had very severe allergies for many years and was on medication every day of the year. Thanks to John's treatment, I am no longer on medication and my allergies have been controlled for about four years now. Sinus

After experiencing my first massive sinus infection during basic training at Fort Dix (which required hospitalization), I had years of recurrent sinus infections. After 4 to 5 months of Acupuncture treatments by John Urich, one day as I was getting off the treatment table, I sneezed a huge plug of mucus out of my nose / sinus cavity. Great all around care for my family! I started seeing Dr. John before I had my first child 20 years ago. I can't think of what he hasn't done to help heal my family. Gynecology & Fertility

When I was in my 40's I developed very heavy menstrual bleeding and began passing large blood clots. One month I bled for 19 days straight, and came to John for help. He administered three (3) acupuncture treatments that first week using "Moxa" (a traditional Chinese medicine therapy used to warm the acupuncture points with the intent of stimulating circulation through the points and inducing a smoother flow of blood and qi).
